Client data & AI

Updated October 11, 2026

Understand the source, access and review controls before sharing your firm’s client material with Grow.

You choose the source material

Add only recordings, transcripts and engagement documents you are authorized to process. Obtain required notice and recording consent. The public sample is fictional and does not need client data.

Private and shared sources

A source’s visibility controls who can read it. Shared calls and documents are available to current members of the selected firm workspace. A private source is available to its uploader; workspace owners and admins do not get an exception. Choose private or shared access for uploads. Files imported through a connected account are always shared with the selected workspace; check that destination before importing.

Personal material is not automatically added to a firm workspace. Removing a member ends their access to the workspace. Owners and admins manage team access; owners manage billing.

How AI processing works

Service providers process source content to produce transcripts, summaries and suggestions. AssemblyAI may receive recordings for transcription. OpenRouter and selected processing providers may receive transcript and document text for analysis. Content may be processed outside Canada. The Privacy Policy describes these disclosures.

Do not assume this is a service that processes every document solely on your device or keeps all processing in one country.

What your team reviews

Suggested opportunities, concerns and commitments link to their source passages. Confirm client identity, service coverage and commercial terms. A document upload does not automatically accept a fee or add a service to the engagement.

AI can miss context or produce incorrect results. Read the original material and use professional judgment. Guide prices are starting points, not guaranteed revenue. Follow-up drafts are yours to edit and send.

Safeguards and choices

The application checks workspace membership and source visibility, stores passwords as hashes, and uses HTTPS for public access. It provides export and deletion controls for supported content. Active records and media are removed when deleted; backups and processor copies can have separate deletion cycles.

For data handling questions, deletion requests or vendor-review questions, use the Contact page. Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before adding confidential client material.
